Recordings and transcripts
Replay a recording, find a passage, and ask questions with context.
Saved meetings keep recordings, transcripts and linked notes together. Open a meeting from the library to return to the conversation.
Replay a meeting
Use the player to play, pause and seek. The Notes, Transcript and Ask AI views provide different ways to work with the same meeting context.
Recordings are saved on the device. If a recording file was moved or deleted outside Noter.ai, playback may be unavailable until the file or its backup is restored.
Search the transcript
Open Transcript, search for a phrase, and select a passage to seek to that point. Speaker filters can narrow the displayed passages.
Enable Follow playback to keep the active passage in view as the player moves. Turn it off when you want to browse independently. Some older transcript-only entries have approximate timing; an approximate timestamp is not the same as word-level alignment.
Review and save the notes
Check the organized note draft against the source material. Add missing details, correct inaccurate wording and confirm owners or deadlines before choosing Save note or Update note.
Moving a linked note through the app also keeps its associated recording and transcript together. Relinking or detaching a note clears its previous meeting association.
Ask AI
Ask a specific question about the meeting, such as:
- What decisions were made about the website?
- Which tasks have an explicit owner or deadline?
- What requirements changed during the call?
Answers use the available meeting context and your configured AI provider. They are displayed progressively. Use Append to note draft when you want to review useful output in the editable notes.
AI answers are not a replacement for checking important details against the recording. Missing or unclear source material limits what the model can reliably answer.
Export a useful moment
Where the recording player offers Export this video part, choose the relevant segment and save it to your device. Keep the original recording if you still need the full meeting context.
